REQUEST COVERAGE A LIMITS UP TO $1.7 MILLION 

Great News! You may now submit requests to Universal North America to bind homeowners coverage (HO3 Program) up to $1.7 million. We will review these requests on an exception basis for the following risks:

·        Coverage A value is no more than 1.7 Million

As you know, we currently allow binding authority up to $1 Million in Coverage A for homes ages 5 years old and newer.  This exception process will provide additional capacity, with Underwriting approval, for homes over $1 Million up to $1.7 Million

When completing the application for homes with a coverage A value between $1M and $1.7M, indicate the dwelling limit, then enter the following policy note before submitting your complete application:

"High-Value Exception"

Your request will then be expedited to our Underwriting team and an answer returned as soon as possible.  All requests for exceptions are subject to availability and underwriting criteria.
